Well curated indoor and outdoor museum. It is a time capsule of the settlement of the Peace Country and Fairview/Waterhole/Friedenstal area by the settlers and immigrants. Two set backs: this gem is not visited more often and secondly there is not an equal amount of artifacts of the rich native heritage. This especially since the museum is located adjacent to the Cummings Lake Recreation Area named after Chief (?) Cummings of the Beaver First Nation.

Great piece of history, original buildings filled with old artifacts & furnished with the original owners belongings. Can walk right into each building & get right up close to everything, really enjoyed our day here!
