Well organized and clean. The staff was professional and friendly. Would not hesitate to shop there again.
Prices are to high, driving people to relocate. Bread always stale and deli meat last at most 3 days l.
Out of stock, out of date, out of any reasonable person's price range. Complaints to management are met with sneers and nothing ever changes. Why should it? They have a monopoly and since there's no place else to shop, they get away with it. Your days are numbered, Freson. Online grocery shopping is coming. * Follow up? Yeah, like that would do any good. When this store leaves two and three year old products in their freezers and puts new stickers on old bakery items, I can't believe that management (including head office) gives a fig about the quality of the goods they're selling. Management? They're too busy stocking perpetually empty shelves (either get a new supplier or somebody who knows when to re-order) and allegedly rotating stock while the stockpersons gossip in the aisles. If you had any actual concern about what occurs in your stores this kind of thing would've been cut off at the head. But, hey, profits are still up, so who cares, right? Price gouging usually nets you a tidy sum.The only...and I do mean ONLY...good thing about this store are the cashiers.

You simply cannot compare huge chain stores to locally owned small business. You might pay a little more but the value added is priceless. These guys have a great selection, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Fresh Sourdough baked in-store daily using only Alberta Wheat. Locally smoked meats, Store made sausages and an actual butcher who gladly does custom cuts. Wide range of produce (lots of organic choices too) lovely flowers year round and a garden center in summer. Tons of Ready-to-go meals with a huge Make-your-own Salad bar. AND they constantly run promotions and specials. Very happy to support this local business!
